Ryusei wins the KuraMaster sake competition, run by French sommeliers.
The standard product from the Ryusei Classics series, "Ryusei White Label Junmai Ginjo," won the gold medal in the Junmai sake category.
"Ryusei White Label" is a pure rice ginjo sake carefully brewed from Yamadanishiki rice.
The aroma is faintly fruity, and when you put it in your mouth, it's smooth and the flavor spreads throughout your mouth.
It is a crisp, dry sake with a refreshing sharpness and acidity within its umami flavor.
It goes well with Japanese food such as sashimi and sushi, as well as oily foods such as kushikatsu, tempura, and Chinese cuisine.
Enjoy it nicely chilled.

"I am very happy to receive this award. It's all thanks to everyone involved with alcohol.
I think it's because the koji makers, brewers, bottlers, and those who finished the product all came together to form a "circle" of sake.
